Del just wants to fit in at her new school and get closer to her crush, Mara. But when a night drinking in the woods goes wrong, Del and her new friends accidentally trigger The Rot: an invulnerable and unstoppable fungi that will slowly but surely consume all manmade materials in its path.

After an (explosive) incident she would rather not talk about, the Coven banned Medea from using magic. But she has a plan to get her license back. A plan that involves summoning a Demon to enter the Witch Tower Trials, winning them, and becoming the most powerful Witch of Mistwatch. The problem is, it seems this Demon she’s summoned isn’t really a Demon at all, but Jane, a very confused and decidedly non-magical woman.
